Digital Media and Video Production and Recording Arts (VPRA) students recently attended a career activity day hosted by Villa Maria College. The students, who were from the Kenton and Harkness Centers, participated in a variety of workshops based on their specific area of career interest. Professors from the animation, gaming, music industry, and filmmaking programs shared their knowledge and challenged the students to explore industry skills.
Admissions counselors from Villa were on site to provide a campus tour, talk about articulation agreements, and give students a small picture of what life on a college campus can be like. For many students, it was their first experience on a college campus and their first opportunity in the past couple of years to get out and network with peers from other programs and schools. The day ended with lunch provided by Villa and each student left with a parting gift.
